Lehigh Valley Home Struck By Gunfire, Pair Seen Bolting, Police Say

Police are seeking clues after a Lehigh Valley home was struck by gunfire over the weekend.

Officers responded to the intersection of North 8th Street and Spring Garden Street in Easton just after 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, Easton Det. Benjamin Mastrofilippo said in a release.

A follow-up investigation confirmed evidence of gunfire into a resident on the Unit Block of North 8th Street, Mastrofilippo said.

Two people were seen running from the scene heading north on 8th Street past Bushkill Street, authorities said.

One was wearing a light-colored hoodie and the other was wearing a dark-colored hoodie.

No injuries were reported, and the victim has not been cooperative with the investigation, according to police, who said that the shooting did not appear to be random.
